The Solution To Terrorism

via The Imaginative Conservative

You want to stop terrorists and terrorist attacks?

There is ONE answer that will solve the problem. As usual, it is an answer that the world's governments do not want the citizens of the world to ever consider, for it would greatly diminish their power and control; whereas, the recent history of countries 'under attack' prove that the governments use these 'attacks' to strip away the rights of law-abiding citizens and to increase their power and control over the citizens.

At the beginning of the 20th century, much earlier actually, as a very basic starting point, all democratic, 'free' nations had laws in place for crimes committed by one 'citizen' against the rights and property and life of any other 'citizen'. These laws included, theft, assault, battery, rape, extortion, kidnapping/abduction/imprisonment, manslaughter, and murder. For the most part, prior to the 20th century, a person was tried for their actions; while their motive might be introduced in the trial, in order to show why a person would commit the crime, especially if the case was built mostly on circumstantial evidence, the real focus was on the what and not the why of the case. However, as lawyers, along with most everyone else, wanted to be rich and famous, trials began to take on a sensational drama that shifted the courts from systems of justices to game rooms of power between the political wannabees and the salacious immoral actors that thought themselves above the law. This shift left the regular man without any protection or recourse under the law.

via cubanexilequarter.blogspot.com
One of the results of this shift was the desire of politicians to 'prove' to their unprotected citizens, the desire of the government to protect them with the 'invention' of 'extra crimes'. Now, crimes could be more glamorous, more sensational, more dramatic, creating more fame and fortune for the 'officers of the court' carrying out the power games. This also, reduced other crimes to being so mundane and 'regular' as to not warrant sufficient attention from those same 'officers of the court'; why should it, what was their benefit for just a typical run of the mill crime. Who wins elections for doing their job honestly and fairly and to the best of their ability? No One! Who gets their face on TV for finding and prosecuting the 'John' that rapes and murders the prostitute? No One! Who gains richer clients if they properly insure that a guilty client is treated fairly and justly, but is still responsible and accountable for their crime? No One!

So now we have "hate" crimes and "terror" crimes and even hate and terror are crimes, when did emotions become crimes? Where is the common sense in this? When did crime become an act of love and grace, so that we now need to know when it was committed based on hate and terror? Why do we need to add 'special dramatic words' to crimes for them to matter?

The injury or loss of a life is still an injury or loss no matter why it was inflicted. The argument would be to give harsher sentences for those crimes committed as acts of 'hate' or 'terror'. But that is not accurate, that is a lie by the politic to provide election slogans and TV sound bites. It is pure simple personal promotion.

via 25 Worst Acts Of Terrorism Ever Committed
One of the most common appeals of hate and terrorism to 'new recruits' is the sense of belonging and the sense of 'being someone'. It is a way to 'count' to get to be 'famous'. And the politic of the justice system created this appeal with their own self-desire to have the same thing as these 'criminals' they so publicly decry.

Everyone wants to be someone, that is nothing new; however, what is new is who the media and by default the public thinks is someone. Being someone is no longer about doing right or good in the world or making the world a better place or serving your fellow man with honor and integrity; it is all about being famous and getting rich. We have totally lost the original meaning of both words; famous is more commonly renown or notorious, which are not positives and rich, being only a material construct.

Thus, it was the introduction of the words 'hate' and 'terror' into the justice system that created the dramatic increase in these types of crimes and it is their removal that can initiate the greatest decrease in the committing of these crimes as well. How? You may ask.

If a person harms another solely out of hate, prosecute them solely for their acts. Do not give them a stage for their glory! Do not give them a pulpit for their dogma! Do not give them catchy 'titles' that immortalize them! Do not use their name in your sound bites so they gain fame! The Judge already with the simple laws has the means by which to mete out the full sentence for their conviction.

If a person harms another solely for terrorism, prosecute them solely for the real crimes they committed. Do not name them part of a group and give them or their 'group' status! Do not name their cause, thus giving it credit! Do not use the word terrorism so they gain power! Do not identify their religion or ethnicity to draw 'special' attention! Again the Judge already has the means by which to mete out full sentence for their crimes and that is what should be meted out; nothing more and nothing less!

When you stop using the words 'hate' and 'terrorism' the 'thrill' and 'fame' and appeal of the 'group' will greatly diminish. In today's world, very few are going to just anonymously sacrifice their lives for a cause that will get them nothing in the end!

Enemies Or Partners In Destruction.....

Security Photo via NBCNews
In the after mass of the Brussels attacks, it comes to light that most if not all of the suspects were not only known to security officials, but had even already committed crimes that had sent them to prison.  Brahim and Khalid El Bakraoui, were both arrested and convicted of violent crimes. Had they had to serve the entirety of their sentences they would still have been in prison and thus not free to commit the violent attacks on the Brussels Airport in March. Matter of fact the younger brother would only be getting out sometime this year and the older brother not for 3 more years. What is worse is that this is not an exception, this is the norm. Several of the suspects of the Paris attacks had similar stories. The Boston Marathon bombers we also known to have traveled to terror locations and shown violent behavior.

While I believe that, if someone makes a mistake and they are remorseful and even show by their behavior and actions the truth of that remorse that early release is a good thing; and also that once someone serves their sentence or completes whatever punishment they have been given that should be the end of it. Those things being said, if someone is known to be a gang member or terrorist and especially if their crime is in connection with their gang or terrorist affiliation then there should be NO early release. Also, if you entered a country as a refugee or even a migrant and engage in terrorists activities you should also be deported. I have said it before and I will say it again, if someone travels to any terrorist location for the purpose of 'joining the cause' then upon arrival in that area, their passport and citizenship should be revoked.

AP Photo
The fact that the above actions are not being practiced by Western countries in their war on terror shows the true intent of the governments' commitment to their own publicly stated policies. This is truly the only action that is needed for the public to know that they are being put at risk for the sake of their justification of further oppression of peaceful and law abiding citizens and the transformation of free democracies into the profitable police states of the military industry. If you want to know any government's or company's true intention and focus, all you have to do is follow the money. Corporate "America" (America is not the country with corporations that fit this comment) has one goal above all others and that is profit! If you are in business then you do need to make a profit; however, when your desire for profit out weighs all other focus and even destroys your morals, then you are in the wrong.

The top defense contractors made thousands of millions of dollars in profit in FY2013. With Lockhead Martin leading the pack at $10,402 million. Together the top 20 defense contractors made $52,533 million in profit in the same year. Lockhead Martin is the leading defense contractor in the world, in 2014 the company had "defense revenues of $40.128 billion out of $45.6 billion total revenues. That was down $366 million, or -0.1 percent, from last year's defense revenues of $40.494 billion."  These contracts are a sizable part of the defense budget which is 55% of the US budget for 2015. Of the top 5 contractors, their overall revenues are made up of defense contracts from 64% of General Dymanics to 75% of Lockhead Martin's total, based on Washington Technology's company profiles. The same contractors contributed a combined $7,272,642 in the political arena, both Democrats and Republicans and special interest groups. Also in the second quarter of 2015 defense lobbying was up $12.8 million over the same quarter in 2014. One does not need to be an economist to see that there is TOO MUCH MONEY at stake for the war on terror to ever end!

Thus unless the public collectively puts their difference aside and joins together en mass to demand some very real change to our policies and actions regarding terrorism and regime change in foreign nations, we can look forward to many more terror attacks, each more violent and deadly than the previous all in the name of destroying what is left of democracy and freedom to be replaced by military police states that will continue to oppress and imprison and impoverish all in the name of profits.

Tyranny Is An Insatiable Beast

When the people allow the government to restrict any previous freedom for the sake of security the overall safety of the public has been diminished. That is a really scary environment to live in. Americans like to hold themselves up as examples that the rest of the world should strive to be.....but what exactly is America today???

Today's America would be recognized by our Founding Fathers, but in a very bad way! Our government would remind them of the tyranny of the British Crown and would be quite the insult that we took their sacrifice so lightly that we WILLINGLY allowed and even asked for and encouraged the creation of such a condition that we are now in. Our founding was based on a very limited government and the right and responsibility of individual men to live their lives in the way that brought out the best in them and thus improved the community in which they lived as well. The was to be an individual responsibility to one's self and own. What did one's own mean? Well part of the vision and intelligence of the founding fathers was that it was up to each man to determine what was 'his own' but for sure it began with individual responsibility.

Unfortunately, the majority of citizens in the USA have either decided it is easier to have others, in this case the government on every level, think for them or have been duped into believing that others think better than they do. That leaves the minority trying to reign in the Hydra that is the government. And of course that upsets the beast!

If you have ever looked at 'questionable' police arrests, you will find that a majority of those arrests, especially during protests or civil disobedience acts, as defined by the government, result in a majority of the arrests being for the sole charge of 'resisting arrest'. Isn't it ironic that you can be arrested for nothing more than resisting being arrested. But what is more concerning is that what is defined as 'resisting' is left up totally and completely to the discretion of the arresting police officer. Which means that you can be arrested, for anything from physically defending yourself from law enforcement members to merely asking 'what am I being arrested for'. Being arrested for the latter is actually a violation of the individual's civil rights as defined by the Constitution. Also, a majority of these arrests never see the inside of a courtroom so no REAL justice can be served. There is NO real recourse for the individual that was illegally detained for exercising their rights under the First Amendment of  the Constitution.

Now one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the world is pushing for resisting arrest to be a felony charge. This is not only disgraceful it is completely unconstitutional! And it is a very open attempt to remove the active minority from the political process, since convicted felons lose their right to vote and other rights that are reserved for 'good citizens'. This move, if successful would mean the end of democracy in America and would leave NO option but revolution to the minorities that seem to be the only truly active participants in communities.

D.C.'s Chicken Little Game

Disney's Chicken Little
OH MY how DC loves to create panic!

Of course it serves them well to do so. They have been creating panic on demand since WWII. The 'evil' Soviet Union and the Iron Curtain was a perfect boogeyman for the expansion of the federal government past the bounds and confines of the Constitution. Brought home with McCarthyism witch hunts the government flexed it muscle against the very source of its power and authority in the name of security and the trusting masses acquiesced. Thus the downhill slide began!

via insanemedia.net

After the American public gave an inch for the greater good of stopping the spread of political communism and anyone of note that spoke out against the aggressive nature of the US government's dealings with the Soviet Union were demonized and even black-balled, from actors to writers to artists. That was all the incentive the 'Men In Black' needed to keep pursuing their goals of an ideal American world. It was a modern-day witch hunt; but it was merely the first in a long line of modern-day political and ideological witch hunts!

via wikipedia

The next witch hunt was against the Anti-War/Civil Rights Movements. Those movements were not separate crusades, they overlapped greatly. The common core was based on the same belief, the value of individual life no matter whose life it was and the right to live that life in peace and security. The government still used the same attack and smear campaign that worked so well for them in the 1950's. However, there are rumors that persist that claim that the government stepped up its force in dealing with its perceived enemy. And that it is the true reason for the deaths of such beloved public figures as John and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.
via cbc.ca

In addition to the very public and very noticeable war against political enemies, there have been less visible wars against the American public waged by the American government. Those wars have been in the form of creating panic about 'pandemics' that have suddenly appeared on the American medical scene. The largest one in recent history is the fear that was spread for years and still to some extent exists today about HIV and AIDS. The government had developed some tact and decorum by the time this 'war' arose so that their attacks against undesirables was portrayed as 'public service campaigns' and 'awareness battles' to help protect those at greatest risk. In addition to having AIDS as a target, they also had avian flu and swine flu.

via kosmixmedia.com

Then by luck, or according to some hook and crook, the US Government got their best propaganda tool for a direct and extensive attack on the American public. The bombings of 9/11 brought a very 'real' threat to American soil, the only real question is whom the true and real perpetrators were and just whom knew what and when and how much. More importantly did the 'Men In Black' true patriots allow, encourage or carry out these events? It seems nearly impossible that there is absolutely NO culpability on the part of factions of the US Government via ignorance, apathy, incompetence or design on some or all levels. And 13 years later the US Government is still attacking the American public and the American public still thinks they are only giving a temporary inch for the good of security.

Terrorism is not the only campaign being waged against the American public to ensure the security of the American government. Add to terrorism, the crushing debt that is the foundation and structure of the American Dollar as well as the 'open border' crisis with Mexico and now the Ebola scare. Oh but life is good for those 'Men In Black'!

9/11....The Day The USGovt. Hit The Bottom Of The Moral Barrel

via 911review.com
13 years ago, today, the US Government threw away what little morals and honor they had left and sold the souls of all the honorable men and women that believe in the ideal of a free and independent democratic republic. There is no one man that is responsible; stop blaming Bush like he flew the planes, himself! That being said hold the feet of ALL government officials to the coals for their part in the crime committed against the citizens of the country.

There is a common trick played in D.C. whereas the 'elected official' NEVER specifically says they want something directly to happen; this is to create the 'truth' of 'plausible deniability' thus supposedly absolving the political from being guilty of some wrong doing or worse tarnishing their image.
Another common trick that politicians play, that was a FAVORITE of then Senator Obama; that is one of abstaining from any and all actions. If you do not participate in speeches or actually vote on bills presented on the floor then you do not have to deny a choice you made nor do you have to explain your actions, cause you were action-less.

There are 2 sayings that apply here, one is a well known one, the other one is from a very respected friend during an intellectual conversation, but is very applicable here;
1) You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything.
2) Even when you make no choice that is still a choice, the choice not to choose.

Both of these work well for creating terrorism threats. How? Direct example; it was the US Government that put Saddam in power in Iraq, when the previous regime leaned more to the ideals of an Iraqi-first point of view versus a Western controlled Pan-Arab group and aligned itself with the communist party. This action is directly opposed to the founding of the US, which was based on the ideal that the citizens of any location or nation have the right to self-determination, even if they choose a path that is not ours. Thus it is not up to the US to decide what type of government that the citizens of any nation choose, our only concern should be that they have the freedom and right to choose their government and choose differently in the future under the legal means of their country, but it is still THEIR choice, not ours.

During the Cold War, the US had a single-minded approach to their Foreign Policy, stop the spread of communism. This focus completely disregarded the will of the citizens of most states in question. This policy worked very nicely for the corporate machine that was entrenched into the political wheels of the US Government. For the politicians there was the very pretty ideal for the support of the American public, that of defeating the oppressive, cruel communist regime, to which the US Elite has to give Stalin much gratitude for providing prefect propaganda that could be used for decades to follow. More importantly and less obvious was the ability of the corporate big wigs to use that political ideal to further their global profit base, as well as, backdoor access to directly guide the acts of the US government to benefit the corporate world both at home and abroad, while disregarding the rights of individual citizens of the country.

This single-minded focus of US Foreign Policy was the mechanics that created Al Qaeda -- thus by default creating the tragedy of 13 years ago. How? First it was one of many unsupervised CIA global operations to stop the spread of communism. The only criteria one had to have to be funded, trained, supported by the CIA was to be willing to fight the Soviets. The problem with the methods of the CIA covert operations were that they were basically violent in nature without regard for the culture or public opinion of the areas in which they were supporting armed resistance to Soviet advances. In most, if not all cases, those 'rebels' were not idealists whom wanted to see democracy succeed in their countries, in the specific case of Afghanistan, that was not even Bin Laden's country nor the home of many of his soldiers. Their goal was not the best interest of the Afghan people, but the influence of their own like minded oppressors! Al Qaeda never wanted a free Afghanistan, they wanted an Islamic State of Afghanistan......hmmm sounds familiar doesn't it. And the US Government, via the covert actions of the CIA supported the oppression and destruction of the people of Afghanistan as well as other countries in the name of stopping the spread of oppressive communism!!!

WOW! There is one for the double-speak, hypocrisy play book, support oppressive thugs in over-throwing 'oppressive politics'!

The real hypocrisy was not in whom the CIA funded, but in how they left those areas, the CIA and thus by association, the US Government, is like inviting the animal kids to the party, you know the ones that come trash everything and then leave. That is what happened all around the world during the Cold War, or worse, they left behind the heartless, soulless mega corporations to continue to rape and pillage the remains from the violence for freedom and democracy. And any one with a 3 digit IQ wonders about why the world hates America? Really?!?!

This history of violent actions followed by inaction or worse corporate action is the true blame for the shame of 9/11. Thus, the US public cannot blame terror or a 'terror group' for what happened on that day. It is the fault of the American public for not making a choice to pay attention to the acts of their own elected servants and allow them to deem themselves elected officials. It is the fault of Americans for not making the choice to be active in their communities thus ensuring that those politicians that rose in office were of honor and noble character. It is the fault of the American public for allowing the US Government to surrender to terror 13 years ago today by giving up most of their freedoms and rights in the lie of security.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Can We Get An E.U.... (Part 2: How to join!!!)

So, now that we know what EU membership really means, you say you still want in. Well just in case some people at home forgot, remember you're only as free as Brussels says you are; you are only as secure as needed to protect Germany, France, Brussels; your prosperity will be in direct relation to, without exceeding, your resource and labor supplies for the benefit of the same. The EU is now a 28 country bloc, with another half dozen countries naively vying for inclusion. Yet, less than a quarter of the member countries are maintaining some form of economic survival. Matter of fact the only country that isn't sliding is Germany, which by the way isn't flying.
via timeline.com

Today you hear people say, how did Hitler get all those regular people, all those intelligent leaders, all those educated people to follow him blindly into such madness and evil. Look at the 1930's world; there was a great depression, that had come on the heels of over speculation by Wall Street, which had been running free and without responsibility, Germany and Austria were doubly hit since their unconditional surrender and subsequent 'punishment' by US/UK/France meant they missed the roaring 20's blindly embraced by the West, not only had Germany/Austria lost the war, they had lost all pride and security as well as any economic hope. The phrase about money not being worth the paper it is printed on, was so true in Depression Era Germany that it was used as waste paper, for insulation and burned in heaters. There were no jobs, no food, no money, no hope, no dreams. Then along comes Hitler. He gives names to the blame, then gives answers to the fear, he gives hope to the hopeless. He did what most like him do; he divided the people to gain power. It was the Germans being ill-used by those non-Germans that were jealous of 'German Greatness & Purity'. And that is how Hitler got all those regular, intelligent, educated people to follow him. He promised them solutions and gave them illusions. And the EU learned well from his success. His weapon was hate, the EU uses money. His promise was German Greatness, the EU promise is 'American Dream'. Hitler couldn't deliver on his promise and the EU has NO intention of delivering on its promise either.
And still you want to join.....
The peaceful method is to accept the loans and bailouts, to completely restructure your infrastructure and education system to accommodate the needs of the EU even if that compromises your culture, your history, your lands, your people. To open your doors to free trade with member nations that due to advanced technology and productivity in comparison to emerging or damaged or neglected economies severely undermine and even erode the advancement of your industry. In short you are to play the perfect Dicken's Oliver to the EU Uncle.
via mashable.com

If you cannot seem to get your act together for peaceful subjection then there is the 'peaceful protest coup' method, see the timeline of events over the past 8 months in Ukraine. The US and EU pour money into 'promoting Democracy' in the target nation by picking and choosing which 'parties' and 'NGO's' they support. In addition they run 'Radio Free Europe' not to promote freedom of speech or the press, but you promote the opinions, agenda, 'truth' of the West. You have negotiations that you do not have to abide by. You hold elections that do not follow the laws of your nation. You remove the current government illegally with the support of US/EU/NATO endorsement. You forcefully put down any and all dissent to EU intergration
Then, if you still cannot get your act together and join the EU by the aforementioned methods there is last resort, just ask Serbia. You will be violently ripped apart by 'NATO/UN Peacekeeping' and upon failure to comply bombed into submission. If violent protests, sorry 'peaceful protests' that include violence, and ripping a country apart illegally does not bring it to its knees then outside force to help with the destruction and ethnic cleansing of the independent minded and free thinking are backed by NATO. There is NO military action too great to protect those innocent terrorists that were supported in their division and destruction of nations and lands that resisted the advancement of  the great EU so that Europe can be 'free and secure and peaceful'.

via kosovo.net

With all the options listed above there is a membership route for everyone. Just decide how you want to sell your freedom and the freedom of your children, grandchildren, and their grandchildren to the amazing, wonderful, illusion of the European Union.

Ya Se Acabo

To quote Pitbull--Its Over!!!
Very early this morning (approximately 3 am for us on the east coast) a letter was posted in the online edition of Granma, announcing that Castro would not asspire to or accept the office of president of Cuba. This letter effectively ends Castro's iron grip on the country that has spanned the last 49 years. This is great news for Cuba and good news for all the Americas.
There has been speculation since mid 2006 when Fidel cedeed provisional power to his brother Raul that Castro was on his death bed and has since died. Those same speculators have said that the still photos and essays have been a rue by the Cuban Communist party to misinform the Cuban people and the international community as to the disposition of the ailing leader. It is believed that this "letter from Fidel" is the Cuban government's acknowledgement that with the upcoming meeting of the new Parliament they will have to come clean about true condition of Castro.
Is he alive or dead? If he is dead, when did he die? And how? If he is still alive, how ill is he? What is the true nature of his illness? How much control will he still wield behind the scenes? These are the questions that are being raised around the world. The response from most world leaders is a hope for Cuba to step towards democracy with the end of Fidel's reign.
The rest of the week, as well as the near future, will have Cuba in the global spotlight. It is assumed that Raul will be elected President by the Parliament. This is seen as an opportunity for some freedoms to be introduced in the island nation. There is hope that all the political prisoners will be relaesed and that the political arena will be opened to new voices and ideas.
Could this be the dawn of a new day in Havana? We can only hope.
But the resignation of Fidel today is enough for all Miami along with Cubans world-wide to celebrate.
So in keeping with Mr. Perez (aka Pitbull)...
"It's like a dream, now people can be free. No more 90-mile trips to the Keys. No more risking your life for freedom. I'm hoping he's dead because we don't need him."

One Defeat is all you need when it Counts

YES!!!!!

I have been hoping for it and it finally came and it came when it mattered most. Way to go university students of Venezuela!!! They looked at the issues and decided that they opposed handing more power over to Chavez. Good on them for sticking to his preaching of democracy and giving it back to him in the ballot box. The results were close, 51% to 49%, but the opposition won. This was the first defeat that Chavez has suffered since taking the Presidency in 1998.

Many of the constitutional reforms that were part of the national referendum would have given Chavez power verging on dictatorship. Some of the most disturbing parts of the reforms including the appointment of governors and mayors as well as bringing the Central Bank under the control of the President. These are issues that caused Chavez dissent even among his most ardent supporters, including his former Defense Minister, Raul Baduel.

This single act by the voters of Venezuela may prove to the rest of Latin America that democracy is and can be alive and well. And one day later the fact that Chavez for the moment is accepting the defeat, at least until he can figure away around it, also gives rise to the belief that this may well be the century of the Americas.

Putin Check Mates Kasparov

In an anti-government rally in Moscow the police swarmed in and put their sights on Kasparov. Kasparov is famous enough as an international chess champion that he is seen as a major target by Putin's government. I think that with this election will show just how calculating and thought out Putin has been in trying to return Russia to the Soviet Union. This is an election that most Americans do not even know is taking place much less paying any attention to, however this election will have broad implications for the United States and her interests globally.

We sit here and rant about the bickering between our candidates, as well we should but we need to be aware of the politics of other countries as well. And right now the political events in Pakistan and Russia are just as important as our own. What happens in the upcoming election in Russia may well set the stage for some challenges in our own political future.

Putin has been strategically aligning himself against us without creating too much friction and he has been able to do this because for the most part the mainstream media here in the US does not support the current administration and  therefore does not blast any head of state when they speak out against our government. When reports make it to the headlines about other heads of states speaking against our own it is presented more as a see how wrong you are report against our government instead of as offense against all Americans.

One of the things that we have to realize as Americans is that our opponents look at us collectively and put us all in the same stereo-type, unlike us where we separate the government from the people. When our enemies attack us they do not concern themselves with the collateral damage that they may cause, the ends always justifies the means. So we need to keep that in mind when we see and hear the opposition speak against us.

We need to look at the larger pictures sometimes before we take hard fast stands based on 2 minute sound-bites. We are a global power living in an international environment, we cannot be an isolationist nation it will not work and it will most definitely not improve our security.
