Is there any hope........

No, I haven't written anything in the last few days. Why? you might ask....cause we are stuck in the same gear.....STUPID!!! I only write about things that really speak to me, that I really feel about. But at some point you have to ask; "Do you keep trying to save people that seem to have NO desire to be saved?"
That is where I am momentarily standing. I think we all reach spots on our path where we wonder if we make a difference, wonder if it is worth continuing, wonder if anyone is getting the message. The news is pretty much the same, not just the US but around the world people are all in some state of unrest or disappointment over the George Zimmerman trail. Why? It was one stupid man that did one stupid act that resulted in the death of a child. This is not to diminish the loss of life of Trevon Martin, but everyday since the day that Zimmerman and Martin crossed paths some has died a violent death at the hands of a violent person who was carrying out a planned act of violence for little or no or stupid reasons. Yet, not one of those violent deaths at the hands of violent criminals was the center of media frenzy. Why? Cause the government whats you focused on things that do not really matter. Yes, I know that I sound callus especially to the family and friends of Trevon Martin; but, his death was the result of 2 individuals not making the smartest choices. The other deaths that I have previously mentioned are the result of the failure of the education system, the failure of the legal system, the failure of the prison system, the failure of most if not all levels of government and society. 
Why didn't these murders create the same media frenzy as with Zimmerman/Martin? Simple reason, to divert attention away from real crimes and real problems so that the government would not have to answer to the people. And as easily fooled as Americans are, it was an easy thing to accomplish. It has even given something for other countries to use as diversion to their own real issues. When will the masses wake up and see that their governments are filled with bad people that serve their own interests and not the interests of their people.
People complain about no jobs, government spending, the price of things going up. Yet they do not bother to pay attention to the positions of politicians, they do not speak out, they do not protest, they do not even vote half the time. 
Democracy only works if you participate.

Big Brother Obama Has Played The National Security Card Again

Over the holiday Obama signed an Executive Order that give the government COMPLETE control over all communications in a National Security event. The fact that he signed this order on the Friday afternoon of the holiday weekend which actually started on Wednesday, shows that he knew it would be a political fiasco considering the recent out rage over PRISM. It also shows that there should be more out rage. If his intentions were honorable then he would have done it in the full light of a working day. What is as important as what a politician does is when they do it.
While Obamanites might argue that being able to control the airwaves in an emergency is a good idea, if that was the pure and only reason for this Order then he would have done it with lots of fanfare at 10 am on Tuesday morning, but he didn't. So the primary reason for doing this late on the 2nd day of a 4 day holiday weekend, was to have a few news reports talking about it as possible. Why does a politican, that is known for their narcicism, do something that will not given them desired publicity......cause the publicity that would arise outta this action would not give positive and beneficial to his personal/professional goals.
Also the wording of in the event;  “Such communications must be possible under all circumstances to ensure national security, effectively manage emergencies and improve national resilience.” should concern people. We have seen the government, especially sine 9/11, use the term National Security as a blank check whenever they think the need exists and there is little to no oversight. We know this from experience. We have heard of judges signing warrants without being able to read most of the warrant due to classification of the information included in the warrant. You would think that we could find judges that could be vetted so that they could read full petitions for warrants. We have even had reports that judges have signed warrants after the searches indicated in the warrants have actually taken place.
We have seen the use of the phrase 'National Security' used to justify PRISM, the huge expansion of the TSA, the creation of Homeland Security, as well as excessive watching of journalists and citizens in their private communications, there have even been reports of veterans being taken into custody and even placed in psychiatric wards of jails and hospitals. Where is the "this goes too far" fail-safe line?
As long as the American public accepts the illusion that the government has our best interest at heart or that they will ALWAYS do what is best for the country or her citizens, we will move closer and closer to enslavement in the guise of National Security.

Croatia in the EU Gives Serbia New Opportunities; But will they take them......

Croatia has now officially become part of the EU. It would appear that no one in Croatia has been following the plight of current EU members such as Cyprus, Greece, Spain and Portugal. It is amazing that anyone would want to become part of the EU, or that it can still successfully sell itself on an image without substance. Joining the EU is played as getting invited to sit at the lunch table with the cool, rich kids. But just like in school, the image that some of those "really cool kids with their perfect lives" portray is not the reality of their homes. They drive their fancy sports cars and wear designer clothes and take holidays to all the cool spots.... but what you don't see being on the outside looking in, most of the time, is that it is all on credit, it is all on borrowed ideas or promised future successes; it is all debt and sold souls. 
Sure at one time in the past, there were countries in the EU that were full of prosperity and opportunity and were built on strong and solid foundations with vision and innovation. The problem is that those blessed countries got greedy. They wanted more and more and expected even more. Their greed consumed them, they became so caught up in having more and spending more and shining more than the guy next door that they lost sight of morals and values and honor and integrity and even of the law itself. Avoiding the guilt of the law was easy....just change the law, write the regulations so that they are so lengthy and complex that even most experts cannot understand them or know when they are being violated or not. And then the wheeling and dealing and back door agreements started hiding the cracks in the foundation; once they succeeded in hiding the first crack they decided that it was easier to just hide the real problems than you actually rebuild the foundation and make the house stronger. And now the castles of the past have been replaced with a house of cards. They are like movie sets pretty fronts with nothing holding them up.
Joining the EU is, as we have already stated, willing giving up your independence and sovereignty. You are compelled to conduct your affairs in accordance with the laws and regulations of the EU. Joining the EU today is like pledging the most popular fraternity on campus. You go through all the kissing ass and jumping through hoops just to be considered a pledge then you need to go through the hazing the purpose of which is to convince you that you are really joining a brotherhood, a group that is as strong as family. If you survive then you are called a brother, but you are more like a permanent guest as the leaders are already in place and during the hazing you have been taught your place, at the bottom of the barrel. 
But specifically as it relates to Croatia and Serbia; the export/customs expenses has hurt Croatia and can help Serbia increase exports to areas that Croatian products are now going to more than double in cost. Serbia will lose some of its sugar exports since there is a total export limit to EU, however with the new markets of CEFTA members the loss of the sugar export to Croatia should not be significant. And the new market areas that Serbia can exploit within CEFTA should help with the economies of all concerned. 
This opportunity is one of the ones that is available solely because Serbia is NOT an EU member. Which brings up another negative of joining the EU and that is the limits placed on the country in creating opportunities that benefit one's own people. That is again returning to the basic principle that you are not allowed to benefit your own without approval of the EU, which is not inclined to think of your best interests but of their own. This actually keeps innovation and competition contained and limited and owned. The EU is a pretty form of imperialism which is the destruction of capitalism and innovation and limits the advancement of individuals and nature. 
Let's hope that Serbia realizes the opportunity that is now her's and that she embraces the path that will lead to health and prosperity and innovation to the benefit of ALL Serbs!!!

Egyptian Men Prove They Are NOT Real Men..........

There is a very prevalent double standard that is epidemic in Egypt right now, but exists world wide. This double standard is that men are superior in all aspects except being responsible for their crimes against women. This idiocy that women are totally and completely responsible for all crimes committed against them is based on the corruption of inferior men in positions of spiritual and political power. I know that the Western world would like to say that it is a Muslim flaw, but it is actually a MALE flaw. In general the idea that "women ask for it" that they "drive men to do it" is nothing more than a cop out. If men are so strong in all other aspects of life and the world then they certainly should be "strong enough" to conduct themselves in accordance with honor and integrity. Every man that says that "she asked for it", that "it is her fault", is saying the SAME thing about their own mothers. They are saying that it is OK for men to rape and beat and violate their mothers. Now if you took a poll, how many men would say, 'yes, sure, feel free to go rape my mother'; but, the same men that would be so publicly offended by the suggestion of complacency in crimes against their mother are the same ones that would say about a stranger "what did she do to have that happen".

The WHOLE society has to decide that sexual crimes are crimes against humanity and society. Every act destroys the foundation of society. Women are the givers of life, they are the nurturers of children and family, and without women life would cease. This does not mean that women are the only victims of the most horrendous crimes; babies, girls, boys, women, men and the elderly are all victims of this complete disregard for humanity and human life. This one SIN will prevent mankind from becoming better than we are right now; as a matter of fact it will actually digress our advancement thus far. Instead but strengthening the ties of society we are ripping them apart and into shreds. If we continue in this manner will we do more damage than can be undone.
There is HOPE. You do not have to be a powerful man to change what is happening. The change starts with you! Start by listening to your own heart and mind about what is right and what is wrong. Most men do not need some "Holy Man" to tell them to respect life....ALL life. If a "Holy Man" tells you that you need only listen to him or do as he says then he is not a REAL "Holy Man". A sincere and honorable man of faith would tell you to look within your own heart, to seek your own knowledge, to have your own relationship with God. Any man that tells you that it is ever acceptable to hurt an innocent person is not a good man, they are not a man you should respect, they are not a man that has power over you. It is a very simple thing to do...if you are unsure about if the act you are committing is good or bad, you need only ask ONE question; "Would I want this act committed against me or mine?"  Your answer to that question is your best guide to doing the godly thing. Never let another man tell you that something wrong is the WILL OF GOD, IT ISN'T!!!! You will not find any text of any spiritual manner that tells that God demands religion, GOD DEMANDS FAITH IN HIM not in another man. Any man that tells you different does not have yours or Gods interests in mind.
God did not create woman to be destroyed by man. God did not create woman lesser than man. God proves this by making woman the bearer of life. God created man to protect woman. It is time that REAL MEN step forward and show that they have honor and integrity. It has to be other men that condemn the acts of bad men in this SIN. It is the mere SILENCE of "good" men that give these criminals acceptance. Every victim is someone's daughter, mother, sister, wife. What will you do when it is yours?

Big Brother Getting Bigger.........

Obama's run for President was based on Change and Transparency.....We have certainly gotten the CHANGE, but the transparency is more a myth than Camelot! During Obama's tenure more whistle-blowers, an asset in successfully ensuring an honest and transparent government, have been prosecuted than under all other administrations combined, twice as many to be exact. And while by the numbers (6) that may not be a huge number the implications are immense. In addition, the spying on journalists and news agencies is a complete and total violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution, the US one just in case you forgot we had one as the current administration seems to have. And now we are getting reports that under the PRISM program we have even been spying on...well, yes, you guessed it....EVERYONE; US citizens, the foreign friends of US citizens, the friends of the foreign friends of US citizens, and even high-ranking officials in the governments of our enemies and, oh, did we mention, also our allies.....oops. The NSA is the proverbial spoiled brat that has gotten caught with their hand in the cookie jar. To our allies, if you are waiting for an apology, don't expect one and certainly do not expect it to be sincere. 
Take heart allies and enemies alike, you are not the only government officials that the US government is spying on; through a program labeled, INSIDER THREATS they are also spying on their own officials and encouraging, no, actually coercing government employees to snitch on any employee that appears to be a threat. What constitutes a threat is vague, but worse is that failure to report such a threat will result in punishment possibly even criminal prosecution. The methods of this administration show the thug like means by which Mr. Obama started his political career. He did not win his first political race fairly, he won cause he had the petition for his opponent invalidated for not having enough "registered voters" as signers. And getting in the Senate was an appointment. And like him or not, if not for early voting (which is a total joke), he would not have won either presidential election. No one should be surprised by his actions or the actions of his administration, not if said actions seem to be of a thug-like nature.
The scandal about the NSA and PRISM is just the latest scandal in what is very much a pattern of abuse of power from Washington in earnest since 9/11 and has been excessively utilized under Obama. It is ironic that Obama criticized the Bush administration for its secrets and hard-line when it came to National Security and now he uses the excuse of National Security to do things that the Bush Administration probably didn't even dream of. The Patriot Act and various other legislation regarding National Security were allowed to pass with vague wording in order to allow government agencies movement within the laws; but, it also allows very much for abuse under the law. Again, I repeat myself, restricting or disregarding liberties in the name of security is not security at all. And those citizens that would allow their rights to be taken away to have security will find themselves without liberty or safety and they do not deserve either one.
And while the government can scream NATIONAL SECURITY, like they do every time they want to violate the rights of any person in America or to carry out a drone attack on American citizens and others abroad, they do not seem to see the broader picture. It is one thing, not a very smart thing, to lack moral prowess in handing foreign citizens abroad; but to show complete disregard for the rights of American citizens domestically and abroad, they are telling every other country that they do not have to respect the basic human rights of American citizens either. We show enough hypocrisy in our foreign policy without making that our domestic policy as well.

Quatar goes public......

So there is a new public bank roller for terrorists and we support them......Big Surprise.....NOT!!!!! For those of you who do not know what or where Qua tar is; it is a small monarchy in the Persian Gulf. Their citizens have basically no freedoms or rights, but they are our ally cause they allow us to operate a base on their land. They are not promoters of democracy that would threaten their position in their country. But they have been bank rolling most of the Arab Spring and then some. The Taliban has open "offices" in of all places.....Qua tar! The Muslim Brotherhood receives money in Egypt and Libya. They are bankrolling the activities of the rebels in Syria, including sending fighters into Syria to fight along side all the other terrorists that have poured in from all over the world. It was Qua tar that supported the UN report condemning Hezbollah fighting with the Syrian Army. Qua tar apparently feels that it is in a position to be the new big player in the Middle East and their personal history and recent actions show that will be a dangerous thing for the people in the region. The only thing that Qua tar has done that can come close to being called a good or positive thing is 21 improvement projects in the Gaza Strip of Palestine. The dangerous issue with their good will is that it is carried out with bad intentions. They know what we Americans still don't understand, in the poorest most desperate places in the world.......loyalty can be bought.
Qua tar makes public statements about moving to more democracy, which when you really have none than even words on public statements are a "move" toward democracy, yet the scheduled elections keep getting put off. It is a Sunni Muslim state which uses Sunni law in most matters. While Qua tar does allow its foreigners to practice their faiths in "private", as they are allowed to have their own places of worship as long as the buildings do not show any religious symbols or affiliation externally, most citizens practice Wahhabism.

No Hope Under Treason

American allies for today show as much honor as the current US government. It is like beating a dead horse to keep repeating that if one weapon or one dollar or one first aid kit reaches any of the "rebels" in Syria from the US government then treason will have been committed.

Treason is the act of assisting or rendering aid to or providing comfort for the enemies of the United States or her citizens.

We are engaged in a GWOT and have a standing policy not to support or deal with terrorists. But just like every part of the Constitution and our laws that have been inconvenient to him, Obama just ignores them and does what he wants. And Congress whom is suppose to keep the Commander in Chief in check have turned a blind eye to his crimes. But then again, Congress has not done their job since Obama has been in office. Yet, they have stayed in office and even given themselves pay raises every year. And the American public seems to be totally agreeable with loosing all their liberties and rights as long as they have their worthless money and gadgets. 

The alliance between big business and the government has successfully destroyed the spirit of the American. They have corrupted the American Dream from achieving your dreams by working hard and living a good life with values and morals to being totally consumed with desire for things and more things and little concern about anything outside their own personal space. Oh, sure we watch the news and say that is awful or they don't deserve that or we should change that but that is where it ends.

It is interesting that people in countries that have fewer rights and liberties and more to lose taking stronger stances against their governments to keep them in check than we do. There are protests every day in countries around the world speaking out against lesser injustices than we have seen carried out here. The American public has allowed the government to destroy the economy and the rebuild an imaginary one to replace it, they are stamping out our rights in the name of security. 

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty.

 Our schools no longer teach the Constitution or how to think independently. They instead teach compliance and ignorance. It is a shame that the US has lost its spirit and direction.

Learn Your Constitution.....It Was Written For YOU!!!!!

It seems that most Americans have no clue about the words or the meaning contained in the Constitution. It is that ignorance that has allowed greedy, immoral, selfish politicians to usurp our freedoms and line their pockets with our tax dollars while not actually performing the duties set out for them in the Articles of the Constitution. The Constitution states that the federal government is supposed to be limited and that it is to be a body of the people, by the people and for the people.

There were very good reasons behind setting up a government around the population. The first was to eliminate a disconnected ruling class from the masses, this is done with the words “of the people”; all people are to be involved in government, it is EVERY citizen's duty and obligation to be informed and to participate in government. The next reason was to ensure that government worked for the good of the individual, “for the people”; government is not to oppress or dictate, nor is government to infringe on the rights of the states or the individual, government it to be limited to only those duties that are required to ensure a secure nation, not personal security, that is the responsibility of the individual. The last part is that ALL power, ALL approval in the actions of the government rests in the authority given to the government “by the people”; we are the people, we have the right, the responsibility and the duty to keep the government in check.

WE THE PEOPLE are the counter balance to the tyranny of government. Power more often than not corrupts those who gain it. Our founding fathers knew this, they threw off the chains of a government that was tyrannical and oppressive and out of touch with the colonists. The Revolutionists did not wage a war at the drop of a hat, they voiced their opinions, the sent envoys to speak on their behalf before Parliament and the King. The took all forms of peaceful means to avoid war. In the end they faced 2 choices, to be treated as less than they were or to revolt and gain independence that ensured that each man would be treated as they should.

Those men believed that each man had the right to live free and to achieve their full potential without being burdened or oppressed by the government. They had more faith in the individual as the strongest link in the chain of the collective. They knew that men by nature are selfish and will protect what is theirs, so they created a government to give the means to always have something worth protecting and fighting for if the need arose. It is this environment of opportunity created by the founding fathers that became known as the American Dream. The belief that anyone no matter how they began life or who they were yesterday had the same chance to follow and fulfill their dreams as every other person without discrimination or limitations.

And it is this very thing that is at risk of extinction right now with the current administration. It is not the sole fault of the current administration, this has been a slow progression that began with the New Deal, but this current administration has done the most damage to the individual and his freedoms and has been the most oppressive and divisive of any previous administration. It has been the liberal/democrat mentality to enslave the masses, especially the poor or under educated in order to maintain control. It is time that those individuals that believe that liberal/democrat politicians have their best interest at heart to open their eyes to the reality that their true intent is to keep them oppressed and poor and uneducated so that they can maintain control. They do not believe that the “poor huddled masses” can think for themselves or make good choices either. They have taken it upon themselves to create a government that will do the thinking for the poor and “take care” of them. But they are the real reason that the poor and disenfranchised stays poor and disenfranchised.

If you are not one of the “poor huddled masses” you might think this doesn't concern me, but it does. The Constitution states that our duty as citizens is not just our for ourselves, it is our duty to make sure the government does not infringe or diminish the rights of anyone. Do not wait until it is your rights that are being trampled on to care.

This concept that the world can and should be 100% secure is ludicrous. Life is not suppose to be without risk or pain or hurt. As the saying goes you cannot have a rainbow without some rain. It is amazing that Americans have become so complacent and straight up lazy that the normal expectation is that the government is responsible for your safety always and that giving up your freedoms and rights that our fore- fathers gave their lives for means so very little now. Benjamin Franklin along with all the other founding fathers are rolling over in their graves and shedding tears of anguish and disappointment. The founding fathers knew that to keep a country free the primary and necessary ingredient was active, informed, involved and motivated citizens. It is this understanding that is the basis for the most famous words “of the people, by the people, for the people.” While most Americans seem to be all about for the people when the person is themselves they seem to have lost the other two parts of the foundation. With knowledge and wisdom our founding fathers in the writing of the Constitution insured that we were to always have the means to keep the government in line.

Apparently our lovely education system is failing in its goal of educating our citizens to take their place in this country as active and informed members of society that keeps our government limited and in check. Of course that is because the public education system in this country is by design and method trying to create socialist subjects of a corrupt, ever expanding government. But that is fodder for a whole other post. Back on track the Constitution was written in a way to limit the federal government. Yes, I am telling you that it a fact, the federal government is supposed to limited. That is to ensure that we never become subjects again but always remain citizens. The preamble of the Constitution states our duties and responsibilities as citizens. Yes, we as citizens have duties and responsibilities and very few of us live up to those responsibilities. As a means for us, the citizens, to fulfill our duties we were given the method and means by which to keep the government in check. They are known as the Bill Of Rights. And there is NEVER a good reason to limit those rights. Once you allow those rights to be limited, especially for the sake of security, you have given up both your rights and your security. The difference is that if you give those rights to the government and not keep them for yourselves then you have just made the whole country weaker and you have helped in the corruption of the government and started the rotting process. When this country fails, you need to stand up tall and proud and say, “Yes, this is my work, this is what I have helped to create.” When your family members are imprisoned for something stupid, do not get upset, remember you wanted your government to keep you 100% safe. When you cannot go to your local library or bookstore and pick up any book of your choice you should feel happy in the realization that you are being protected by your government. When you see nothing bad about the government in the news, cheer for joy cause you wanted to be taken care of like a serf instead of stepping up and acting like a free man.

There are some of you that are reading this and saying, that would never happen here. You sound like the Germans of the 1920's and 30's. It can and will happen as long as you ignore your duty and responsibilities to yourself, your family and your country. The only thing that evil needs to flourish is for good men to do nothing. That is exactly what happened in Germany with Hitler. He was charismatic and had all the answers and promised to restore the glory of Germany and to create a job for everyone. He promised to create a perfect, safe society where everyone would go to school, have a job, have a home, be fed. And he started by growing the government to create jobs and then in the schools he taught only what he wanted the children to know and created a subject population that was completely loyal to him. Then he instigated gun registration “for the safety of the society” and created a nation where anyone could be jailed or removed for the most insignificant of offenses. He encouraged neighbors to not be involved but to spy and rat on their neighbors. He created division between the sub-cultures that made up German society. He kept people so focused on little details that even outsiders missed the grand plan until it was too late.
The smart members of society see these same things happening in the name of security and are speaking out and of course the government is going to call them crazy and paranoid, they do not want the masses to see the truth. They want the masses to be so focused on the next new gadget that you just HAVE TO HAVE or else you are no one, so that they can further watch you and control you and label you and know when they will need to contain you. Welcome to 1984 and you have NO ONE to blame, you asked and begged the government to take away your rights and to enslave you, so do not cry out in despair when you are taken away in shackles or when your children are the ones that have turned you in. For you were too busy with your petty money and things collecting to be bothered with being involved in your community and being responsible for your rights and the rights of your family. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITIY AND YOUR FAULT! YOU CANNOT SAY YOU DID NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN! YOU DID! Doing nothing is more damaging than doing the wrong thing this time.

An Open Letter for Different Option for the Nation of Serbia without the EU

It is desire to see Serbia improve its current conditions and to elevate its economy as well as the standard of its people that demands the composition of this Open Letter stating that there is NO positive to joining the EU and many negatives.

In looking at the recent history of Europe and the area that was formerly the state of Yugoslavia, the first thing that needs to be taken into account is that Yugoslavia was the most stable and established and healthy economy to emerge from the Iron Curtain after the Cold War. This primary fact presents a very real threat to the EU and specifically to the countries of Germany, France and Britain. The big 3 of the EU have enjoyed a patriarchal regime within the EU since its conception. In their eyes there was and will never be room for any dissenting voices. And certainly not one that was aligned with Russia.

In looking at the events that led up to the destruction of Yugoslavia it is very logical to see that there was in place certain feelings and wishes and even goals by the Big 3 of the EU. There can be NO doubt that they saw the benefit of a shattered Yugoslavia. It would be much easier to control and manipulate 6 plus small weak and beholden countries than to try to control one larger stable united country.

It is our opinion that if you look at the facts of how the EU with the support of all the members of NATO acted, there has been NO equality or fairness in conduct and treatment with regard to Serbia and Serbs. You need only look at the actions of The Hague to see the complete and total basis. There are uncountable Serbians whose demise has never been investigated nor acknowledged in those parts of Yugoslavia that were taken away from Serbia by the force or manipulation of the EU and NATO. There has been no real accountability for the torture and death of Serbians in any of the Balkans. The short answer is that the EU and NATO supported or at least turned a blind eye to what must have been considered “justified revenge genocide”. There is NO valid argument against this statement.

Based on the above remarks, there is absolutely NO justification for ANY benefit for the Serb peoples or the nation as a hold to be under the jurisdiction and authority of the same group that willing allowed the destruction and dismemberment not only of the nation of Yugoslavia but also of the Serbian people. And any member of the current government that would argue the contrary should be questioned extensively about their loyalty to the nation and her citizens as well as to what personal benefit they have received or been promised for supporting handing the nation over to the same body that supported the disembodiment of the nation.

This letter not only shows true and valid cause against joining the EU, it also now offers better options for the nation and people outside the confines of the EU. The people and nation would do much better to reestablish their own economy on their own, working with other countries and peoples outside the borders and influence of the EU. The best example for the belief that this is the right route for Serbia; look at what has happened in Cyprus, Greece and Slovenia. To support the argument we suggest several areas of improvement and development that will benefit all of Serbia.

The first of these ideas is to overhaul expand and completely and comprehensively rebuild the tourism industry. This would not be successful under the auspices of the EU. The greatest projections would support much better success outside the EU. This is done by promoting Serbia as a more economical option for a true and realistic European experience for non-Europeans. This is best done with the current currency of Serbia. There is an advantage to having a currency that is NOT the Euro.

The next idea includes developing trade agreements in new markets. There are whole areas of the world that are looking for ways to improve their own economies or that are ready to be emerging nations. Through comprehensive trade agreements with these new and improving markets; and by not being a super economy, Serbia is better able to understand and share in the experience of bringing these new economies into their own. This will increase the positive view of Serbia as well as provide a future customer base for the innovative tourism industry that was suggested as the first idea. In addition in cooperation with the new and emerging economies lays the opportunity for Serbia to increase its standing in the academic and intellectual fields. Which leads to the third part of this proposal.

There are top rate countries, which due to political differences, have untapped riches and talents in the form of their people and ideas. This provides another area that can be exploited for the benefit of Serbia and her people. That would be the improvement and expansion of her education system. Again, by not joining the EU and in cooperation with other similar states, Serbia can in the future offer a more economical education to international students and thus receive mutual benefit of this international collaboration.

These ideas are just the primary or initial foundation that will allow overflow into all other areas of the Serbian economy. And THIS success, is REAL success, and can only be accomplished if Serbia respectfully and graciously DECLINES the implementation of the Brussels agreement over Kosovo and stays out of the EU.

Typical Hypocrisy

The insanity in regards to Syria continues full force. Today it has been reported that the UN Human Rights Council has issued a report that "has condemned Syrian troops' attacks on the town of Qusair, and the use of foreign fighters in the offensive."   Yet there is NO mention for the condemnation of foreign fighters in the rebel ranks. This report was drafted by Quatar, which has foreign fighters inside Syrian on the rebel side. This gives ALL anti-American factions world-wide just one more justification to hate the US.
I find it ironic that the most recent scandal in the US is over the Justice Department gaining warrants for journalists' emails and phone records; in justifying their actions they allude to the possibility of treason or other criminal activity and of course they are playing the national security card. However, over the weekend Senator John McCain, of all politicians, pulled a Jane Fonda. I have been steadily loosing respect for the Senator over the last decade and his stunt this weekend sealed the coffin in my opinion. How dare he go and meet with rebels and just take their word that they are not extremist. How dare he say we should support these rebels whom are possibly even more guilty of war crimes than the Syrian government. 
I'm curious, Sen. McCain, what do you think about the honor of your favored rebels' action in this video? If you can watch this video with your wife, children and grandchildren and look them in the eye and say that the rebels should be supported then I think you and your whole family should go on an extended visit to the rebel held area of Syria. I also challenge President Obama, Prime Minister David Cameron, and President François Hollande to do the same. Gather your family for movie night and watch that video and tell your wives and children how good the rebels are and how they deserve our support. But there is ONE rule....you have to watch the WHOLE video and your have to make sure your wives and children don't turn away or cover their eyes either, cause after all the rebels are fighting the good fight just like we have for over 200 years. 
Any American government official that supports arming the "moderate" rebels, cause we can prevent the weapons from falling in the hands of terrorists and extremists; I have three words for you..."Fast and Furious"....that was such a stellar example of American control of weapons in the hands of criminals. 
If the West had truly wanted to support the "real" or "true" Syrian rebels, then they should have stepped up on day one of the revolution/civil war, before the extremists and terrorists flooded into the war zone. It isn't like we are not aware of this activity. Terrorists, radicals, extremists, whatever label you want to give to them have been flooding into the war zones that involve Muslim peoples for over 40 years. 
Once again the West has made a total mess by stomping into the affairs of a sovereign state. It can be understood how Britain and France do not respect the sovereignty of another state considering they have given up theirs to the EU and the arrogance of the current US government is also well documented. The real crime is that once again it is not American or British or French citizens that are paying the price. The afore mentioned leaders need to ask themselves one question before they stick their noses into the affairs of others "What if the table were turned?" The answer to that question should be their guide for their actions.
As a footnote, let it be known that I absolutely NEVER accept that a government has the right to violate the human rights of their own citizens. And when that violation occurs as the normal approved practice of a government I do expect the governments of other countries to step in swiftly and effectively and remove the government with the least amount of collateral damage and protect the population until the new government is in place and then leave.

Keeping Balance in Syria

Today Russia announced that it would proceed with fulfilling orders with the Syrian government against the wishes of some western nations. I have to say BRAVO Russia!!!!
Britain and France pushed for the EU to lift the arms embargo against Syria so that "moderate rebels" could be supported in their revolution. This revolution officially started 2 years ago, but there is reason to believe that the idea of revolution in Syria was being nurtured as long as a decade ago. But as per the efficient what if scenario planning we have seen with the west in recent history, or even not so recent history, they had half a plan or a really bad plan and winged it in application. 
If the primary, yes I am being sarcastic, reason for supporting revolution in Syria was the state of the citizens in Syria; then waiting 2 years after the revolt to openly and officially decide to support the rebels with arms is too late. The official statement of the western supporters of the rebels is they want to support the "moderate" rebels. I am curious as to how they expect to insure that the weapons are only used by "moderate" rebels. Just what does a "moderate" rebel look like? How does the "moderate" talk? Or walk? More importantly how do you tell the "moderate" rebels, once you have labeled them, that they cannot give the weapons to the "radical" or "extremist" rebels. That would be a great conversation to overhear..... Western Powers....we support you but you cannot share your weapons with all the kids on the play ground, only the other "moderate" rebels get to share with you. Rebels (with fingers crossed behind their backs)... sure we understand, only the "good" rebels will get these weapons, thank you so much.
The fact that the leaders of the Western Powers that want to further arm the rebels feel that stating they are only going to arm moderates and anyone believes that NO radicals, NO extremists will have access to the weapons is proof positive that they are totally deluded and so far removed from reality and the rest of the world that they are totally and completely unqualified to lead or to handle the current situations with any true hope of outcomes that will benefit anyone.
What we have to remember is that there is NO world leader in power that sincerely has any concern for the betterment of the world or even their own country. The world leaders have so removed themselves from the real world that even if they wanted to do something sincerely good they would not have the means or the capacity to do so. There is not one world leader that cares about the citizens of Syria, the only concern is if they can control or influence the new Syrian government once al-Assad has been forcibly removed from office. 
The West has started more fires than it can control or put out. They have lost the reality that to ensure stability there needs to be a balance of power....when everyone is on the same side or are of the same ilk then stability has totally been undermined and while the leaders are so diluted with their own greed and egos it will be rest of us that will pay the price.

Something TOTALLY new. . .

a book review. Actually this is more a strong recommendation if you care about anyone who puts their lives, not only on hold, but, on the line in defense of this nation and her people.  The book, The Good Soldiers written by David Finkel, a staff writer for The Washington Post, is a gritty, in your face look at current warfare.

In the book Finkel follows the 2-16 IN BN, from Ft. Riley, Kansas through their deployment to Iraq, where, instead of escorting convoys and securing roads in the western part of the country, they become part of The Surge to increase security in Baghdad. The view is very direct and forward. There is no sugar coating to be had, just ass deep in the shit, not only, with the troops on the ground but, also the aftermath of IEDs and EFPs sent home to the families.

You get a first hand look at not just the external face of war, but the internal face as well. While the external face is gritty and sometimes gory to the point of destroying the prospective of the bigger picture; the internal face is raw and tormenting, struggling in a life and death battle that pits compassion against sheer existence. Finkel does a copious accounting of warfare on the people right in the middle of the blast crater.  The journey that starts with honor and motivation ends with acceptance and resignation, yet hope while metamorphosed manages to survive in some corners.

While, this read is not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach, if you can handle it, it should be a must read for ALL Americans.
